I have recently added a new collection to my placenta encapsulation service as I feel this product is great to use after birth and has helped so many of my clients.
Earth Bound Baby Sitz Baths are a wonderful way to heal and relieve pain of our vaginas and bottoms, especially after birthing as they sooth soreness. They assist in healing the tissues of the perineum (and vagina) as well as keeping bacteria and infections at bay. Most importantly the relieve pain. A postpartum sitz bath is basically a warm tea of herbs and salt that you soak your bottom in post labor. It helps to ease swollen, stretched muscles and tissues, and soothe and heal if you had a tear or an episiotomy.
In my sitz baths I have combined 7 powerful organic herbs to aid in a quick recovery. These combine ingredients are wrapped up in a muslin bag. After the birth of baby fill tub with water as hot as possible. Drop one muslin bag into the water and allow the and herbs to steep. Once the temperature of the water is tolerable enjoy a relaxing, heavenly scented bath. Please Note: For those who have stitches limit yourself to only one sitz bath a day. If you have no stitches you can enjoy multiple baths a day.
Taking time to sit in these warm organic herbs is similar to taking the time to meditate or exercise. For a jar of sitz bath the cost is £20 and comes with 5 reusable muslin bags which you can refil. Once the bag is filled it can be used twice. One jar of Earth Bound Baby sitz baths with make you 20 baths.
